Culture Night Cabaret 2022 On the 23rd of September 2022, Taking Flight will be taking over the Wood Quay Amphitheatre in Temple Bar for Dublin Culture Night!
Taking Flight has always aimed to support individual artists at any point in their career, through education and offering performance opportunities. We are so excited to take Taking Flight off site and share our culture with Dublin. Circus has always been the mongrel of the arts, which although diverse and almost limitless, is often under-represented or over-looked in artistic and cultural events.
Join us at this amazing venue for Dublin Culture Night, smack bang in the city centre, where you can go and enjoy all the events the night has to offer. Taking Flight is curating an awe-inspiring collection of acts created by our resident artists. This cabaret style circus show will display an array of aerial acrobatics and storytelling. Our show will be split into 2 showings, the first at 6.30pm and the second at 8.00pm. This is a free un-ticketed event for all ages to run away with the circus for one night. Don't miss your chance to join the circus with all the family. The studio will be hosting a Family Fun Day from 4pm to 8pm. Each group/ individual will get 30 minutes to play on aerial apparatus under the supervision of our experienced and friendly staff. This is not a class but time to play. All children must have a parent or guardian with them. Family Fun Day
